What an adorable well maintained inn on the ocean. The reason I gave 4 stars is we had a room facing the street and there’s a bar restaurants across the street who offers entertainment until very late hours and you can hear the music and the crowds of people standing outside. Until around 2 am! So ask for a room ocean side when booking otherwise it’s fabulous great people and an excellent location for walking

The Spindrift is in a very convenient spot in Monterey close to the aquarium, restaurants, and shops. Our room was very quiet (facing the water), though it was quiet in the hallway as well. Cleanliness only 4 stars due to hair in the shower drain, but otherwise the bathroom was clean and spacious. Continental breakfast was just enough to get the morning started. The robes and fireplace were comfy. This was our 2nd time here and I would be happy to come again.

We have been to the Spindrift several times and enjoy the location. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. We enjoy 4:30 wine and cheese in the lobby and meeting other guests. It’s also nice to not have to worry about parking your vehicle as they have valet parking.
