Although this hotel looks and feels like a student dorm, the quality is pretty good. It was extremely hot when we were there, so the room was a bit overheated, but we could open all the windows and slept fine in comfy beds. Bathroom clean and fine. There’s a complimentary coffee stand in the lobby with croissants which sets you up for a simple breakfast. Reasonable price for a very expensive location.

Great Hotel

Hotel was brilliant, it is very close to the Berlin Zoo. It is also very close to the U-Bahn Wittenbergplatz, about a five min walk. Hotel staff were lovely and were very helpful with any queries I had. The crossiants and coffee in the morning were a lovely touch. The room was very clean, and coffee and a kettle was provided in the room along with various herbal teas.

The hotel was very conveniently located to Ubahn and around the corner from supermarket and restaurants. I would highly recommend the location. The complimentary coffee, tea and croissants were lovely. The room was very clean and had tea making facilities also. The only concern was lack of air conditioning- we were there on a week of extremely high temperatures. We only had fan in the room and it was uncomfortable for sleeping

Comfortable stay

I stayed at the Sorat Hotel for 3 nights in August. The room was large and comfortable, with a large TV, desk, armchair and fan. There was a kettle with sachets of tea, coffee and milk in the room. In the morning complimentary croissants and coffee were available in the reception area. The staff were helpful and polite. The wi-fi was more than suitable for my needs. The hotel was easy to find, just 4 minutes walk from Wittenbergplatz u-bahn station. It is located in a central location so it is easy to get around the city either by train, u-bahn or bus. I had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect except WI-FI and this was really annoying. Connection was really poor during my stay at 5th floor. Not the best speed also at the lobby. Hotel is in really good located, quiet and safe place. Free coffee and croissants good way to start day. But I don’t think it’s worth the money in general. It was not the cheap hotel. Should offer more opportunities.

The location was across the street from the city Zoo and near the Europa Center shopping area. There were plenty of restaurants and touristy locations. Some of them seemed a little sketchy, but the police were always walking beats in the area, so we never felt unsafe. Hotel front desk were very friendly and helpful. They managed a small bar and kitchenette area. There was also ample seating in the lobby to watch folks passing by the hotel entrance. The hotel halls were kind of dimly lit, which made them feel a bit dreary. The room itself was clean, but felt dated. Our room had double-paned windows, and one of the interior windows had large break in it. This didn't cause a problem, but it wasn't pretty to look at. We had to catch an early flight, so we didn't get a chance to try the breakfast buffet before leaving.
