The staff at the hotel were friendly for the most part, and the hotel was clean and decent. It is good value for money, and close to the beach. The room itself was quite small, and very dated. You could hear a lot from neighbouring rooms, almost word for word. The air conditioning too was quite aggressive, even though it was set to 23-24, it would bring the room temperature down to 18.

The hotel is a cute, well kept older hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shower in our room was large and very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many delicious choices. Being right across from the beach was wonderful for going for a swim, walking along the promenade or taking in the view from one of the benches. I'm very happy we chose Hotel Subar in Sitgies.

Exactly what I expected from reading the reviews, and it was fine. Room was very small, bathroom even smaller, shower was tiny. AC worked great. Definitely an older beach property that they are maintaining fairly well. The location is what's amazing. Couldn't be better! If you're looking for a clean and quiet-enough place to sleep and refresh, this hotel is an excellent choice.
