When I arrive, I had to wait for the gentleman working the desk to stop flirting with a woman before he finally served me. Then he finally gives me a key to my room. I go to my room, open it, and walk in on a person cooking their dinner. I go back to the front desk, and the gentleman is no longer there, but a woman who appears to be his superior has now taken over. She told me that he “had a long day,” and doesn’t know why he made that mistake. Then she gives me a key to a second room. I opened that door, and I find a gentleman sleeping on his bed in his room. So TWICE I was given room keys to OCCUPIED rooms. Then I had to wait in line again for multiple other people to be served. I had been at the establishment for half an hour and had no room. Finally, the woman very proudly states that she herself has checked the next room, and proceeds to walk me there and show me that there’s no one staying in it, as if this is some sort of amazing accomplishment on her behalf. If there was a grade lower than zero stars this place deserves it. They are a literal clown show and have no clue how to run a business whatsoever. The female employee murmured something about refunding my stay, but I’ve not received any indication that that has actually happened. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel, and I am a musician who travels around the country and stays in hundreds of hotels each year. They win the prize for 2025.
