Great budget hotel to stay whilst exploring Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and helpful. Staff were constantly cleaning the communal areas. Like I said it’s on the lower end of prices for hotels but its location is superb. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Lidl and Albert Hein and a 9 minute walk to the metro.

We stayed 4 night 5 days. The location was perfect, with easy access to the tram and bus stations, as well as a supermarket nearby. There was also a bar in the hotel where we could enjoy drinks and food. The room was very clean and quiet, and we had a good night's sleep. However, it was a bit small for four people, due to open shower water tended to splash everywhere, leaving the bathroom floor wet. Also, the sink did not drain very well. The reception staff were very helpful and kindly allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a comfortable, restful experience.

•I had a poor check in experience owing to system problems(?) and it took 20 minutes. Sadly the hotel is also using automated check in/out machines. This is the function of the reception staff! Get rid of these machines! I watched a family trying to use them and they had problems. ☆ Hotel staff were great and it's a nice place to stay. The area is not the best, some interesting characters on the street!

Located a short walk from Tram 2 stops which can get you into the city centre within half an hour, this is a good spot to stay when exploring Amsterdam. The room was clean and functional although the wardrobe and other fixtures were looking worn and had minor damage. It was self check in and check out so I had no contact with staff.

Check in (self) is to detailed. Good breakfast. Room was cleaned when I arrived, but even though I had placed the "please make up this room" sign outside at 10:00 the second day - it had not been cleaned by 16:00. Terrible noisy and not to efficent A/C in room, I had to sleep with "ear" plugs (but still heard it). Expensive parking (EUR 25/day), but advise to use for safety even though there is a lot of street parking. Not the best area to walk through at nigh (to/from the tram) - even at daytime a lot of people drinking, smoking and taking drugs at the street (never walk alone!)

Great safe clean centrally located hotel. Not a quaint little local charming suite but a regular block of a hotel with clean rooms & a safe quiet place to sleep. We had 3 tiny single beds with tiny blankets lol vs one bed between the two of us, but we managed. Room was a bit warm but had plug in fans to use. Instant coffee & tea & kettle in room as well. The hotel lobby had pizza, coffee & ice cream vending machines. Fantastic restaurants near by! 1. Cedars: Lebanese Restaurant 2. Lokaal van de Stad: amazing Pub 3. Benji’s: awesome cafe
