Nice and neat hostel with lively people around the reception area. Playing music, snooker pool and others. It has a lot of young Gen Z who make it a lovely place. I loved my 3 nights stay definitely going back.

Kitchen facility is inadequate for the size of hostel and number of people wanting to use it. It is accessed through getting a key and is a small galley kitchen- suitable for one family/person to cook at a time but when I used it, 3 other groups also wanted to do so. It is not possible to pop in and get something into the fridge or cook and then do you dishes later (freeing it up for someone else to use it while you eat) as you have to pay a deposit to get the key. Freindly enough staff.

The room was clean, however one of the pillows and single quites were stained. Room was very hot and not much air in the room if you had the one window that opened closed. The other window the handle was missing even thought it was opened without it. Breakfast was simple, but nice and fresh every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was good enough for our stay, Not sure I would stay again at an a&o hotel. But never say never

Just stay away, terrible experience, dirty and smelly starting from reception area, lift and the rooms. Only possible to check in using self service and the booking reference received from hotels.com not recognised. Guy at reception couldn’t help either but after a long wait late in the night they were able to provide another reference nr they had which worked for self check in. Check out time 10:00 so had to pay another 15 euro per room for late check out. So all in all extremely bad experience and not worthy.

Good price for what's being offered. Don't expect super luxury, but just a decent room with a nice shower and okay beds. In the lobby there's plenty to do, even if some things (pool table) might need replacement. My kids and myself had a great stay and would probably stay here again if we ever visit Berlin again.
