Property is old but decently maintained. When we arrived our bathroom did need cleaning in the shower and had some signs of mold but the staff cleaned it promptly. The property has a pool which was really nice for a chill day. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant on site but can say the spritz were great! We had a balcony attached to our room which was great for unwinding with a bottle of wine after a day of exploring. I would stay here again and the bus stop directly outside the property doesn't hurt!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Positano in Italy. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The restaurant staff were also warm and attentive, making every meal a pleasure. The pool was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend Hotel Positano to anyone visiting the area. A friendly, clean, and relaxing hotel with great service!

Everything was amazing! We felt very welcomed there. Breakfast is very good. The only thing is that the air conditioner was too small for the bedroom, and considering the weather was very hot, it stayed a little bit hot in the night. But apart from that, our experience was amazing. The pool is very good, and also the bar in the pool.

The hotels photo listings showcase how important good lighting and angles can be - while the photos are true they are very selective for this property. I do not know how it could be rated so highly. The walls throughout are marked / damaged. The floors in the hotel room are chipped. The handle to control the shutters to the balcony was missing in my room. The bed however was very comfortable. I traveled with my parents and sibling and they had two other separate rooms. One awoke to found a lot of water had dropped from the air conditioning unit onto their belongings and had flooded the room slightly. The other had damaged doors to the balcony that we had to rig to get them to close as that is the only way to block the light. Friendly staff.

The value of this hotel was great. It's situated at the top of Positano so walking down and back up from the town center was quite a trek! No need to go to the gym! The room was decent. A bit dated but clean overall. Nothing to rave about. The mattress was nice and firm and the pillows were amazing. We were well rested. We were situated at the end of the hall, so we did not have neighbours at one end and our friends were next door. Very quiet. Didn't get the chance to use the amenities but from our room's view, the pool looked amazing with the backdrop of Positano. Was happy that we got upgraded for free to a room with a view. Breakfast was only ok. Not terrible. All staff at the hotel were super friendly. I would stay here again.

Treated us right and room was ample for 4 guest. There is a back entrance (stairs of course), but it’s a shorter route than what Google Maps originally showed us from the port. Porter from the port took our bags straight to the hotel (at a cost of $10 euros per bag). Well worth it; almost a necessity. Hotel staff was friendly and I would definitely go there again. Rooms smelled amazing.

Lovely hotel with amazing views of Positano. Pleasant walk paths with exceptional views to the center of town, the beach, and ferry services. Great staff! Breakfast included. Conveniently located at a bus stop which is a very practical means of getting back up the side of the mountain to the property. Good air conditioning and wifi. Parking available at some cost but is still convenient.

Lovely views, great balcony spaces, and friendly staff who made our stay here effortless. Breakfast is worth the extra charge; it was the largest buffet selection we experienced on our trip. It was enjoyable to be higher up in the city as it was quieter. Would recommend walking uphill from the hotel to experience more local shops and grocery stores. To maintain your sanity, DO NOT walk yourself and your suitcase to the hotel. Pay the porters. Or, if you must, take the road, not the stairs.
