Staff were very friendly and organized and the breakfast buffet was tasty and filling. The rooms were clean but the beds and pillows were very basic. We didn't see an air conditioning unit or mini fridge in the room either. Given we stayed only 2 nights and came into the city by train, the location was convenient and we had a pleasant stay.

I get it this is a country read to advance , but there are a lot of things to improve a hotel that don't cost the earth. Install USB/C power points or have on hand adapters should someone forget theirs - I don't think this relates to 3^4* 5*, it's an essential way we communicate. From airport 20 mins by train at Bucharest Airport to Gran DubNord main station, A short walk to the hotel. Location a 7 stop Metro ride to Downtown Bucharest . The Metro station is right outside the Hotel convenient.£1EW clean and efficient.. but closes at 11pm I found this out after leaving my location meeting up with friends at 12pm had to call an UBER. No issue but stay open until 1am. Big rooms, found mine a bit pungent, that might not be all, complimentary water. Breakfast was fine, check in and out, asked about adapter to another receptionist who actually looked in all the cupboards, so I think the receptionist when I booked was having a bad day. I am sure there are worse hotels, just a long day travelling and an annoyance that everything was flat and I couldn't recharge - I forgot my adapter.

I chose this hotel as I was going to be travelling in & out of the nearby Gare de Nord a number of times. Friendly & fast check-in with staff apologetic about the very short notice of a Bucharest city tax. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and all boxes where ticked. Fresh, filling & healthy breakfast in the morning to get you set up for the day. When I'm back in Bucharest I'll be booking here again.
