The breakfast was terrible with very few choices and it was super busy and chaotic. The pools were nice but quite cold and deep. The pool area was super crowded. I got the ugliest pizza from the pool bar that was absolutely inedible. Pool bar staff was nice. Front desk staff was a mixed bag. Overall not the best place to stay in Rhodes

Paid extra for big room with private pool. Was disappointed. Although we had sole use of the pool, it was right next to main pathway so not really private. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were dated. No dish towel or cleaning/Squeezy. The fridge was old cool box with no freezer to make use cubes( you had to buy your own if needed). The taps were corroded, no kettle to make tea/hot water. Two coffee pods and one cream milk. The bath needed upgrading, leaked and silcon seals were dirty/black. We stayed for three nights and it was advertised as having use of executive lounge, we were given one visit. The TVs were old with no apps. Plus's were -comfy bed, good air con and good selection for breakfast, but had to chase round to get hot water for tea and coffee machine temperamental. Some of the main areas were very musty/damp smelling. Seemed like extra charges for everything 14.00 for cocktail , 11 for basic wine, 10 for sun beds at the beach. Couldn't find price list for restaurants so ate out. Lots of great restaurants within 10min to 25 min walk. Even charged 7.00 to use to basic gymn. This is jot a 5 star hotel felt ripped off.

I must say we were really let down by this hotel. Arriving at 14:35, we were told our room wasn’t ready. Fair enough, check in was at 15:00. We were asked to wait or go to a (REALLY overpriced) bar- which we did. Yolo. We come back at 15:30, and again told the room is not ready. Eventually we were accommodated, but the room looked NOTHING like the pictures of the rooms on expedia. Decor and functionality stuck in 1995, however clean with a lovely view. The most annoying thing- no sockets by the bed. Even kettle had to be plugged by the balcony floor- definitely a health and safety risk even without kids. We were given no information at check in, only to download an app which proved totally unnecessary and useless. (Do not bother). We showed up to breakfast one day, only to be told our breakfast is at a different restaurant completely- surely something reception could mention? The only points I am awarding this hotel is for the lovely breakfast hosts, who went above and beyond every morning. Pool- please forget it unless you wake up at 7am to reserve beds with towels. All the beaches across the street are private and paid extra. To top it off, I have NEVER seen a hotel gym to be paid, too. I cannot with a clean conscious recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a lovely hotel but it could do with some maintenance. The staff were friendly, especially Dimitris. There were quite a few niggles in our room, like the AC could have been cooler, the shower kept over flooding, ants in the kitchen. The breakfast had variety but it was average. We had an amazing private pool in our block so felt relaxed. Overall, we didn’t allow these issues to get in the way. We had a wonderful break. The hotel really stepped up when the wildfires happened and provided food and shelter for all those affected. Hat off to them!

It’s alright… but Not the greatest. Appreciating it’s a massive complex but the whole place looks and feels a bit tired. 50 years old this year… and you can tell. Check in is painful and for some reason seems to take an age. We stayed in one of the family bungalow suites up the mountain side. Concierge service with buggies to get you up and down thank god. The room was ok but… as I say… in need of a refurb. Aircon in the room defo needs a re-gas or service. Had trouble getting to sleep some nights as it was still pretty hot in the room. Had an “American” style breakfast included… lots to choose from. Staff could defo do with cheering up a bit… not many smiles knocking around. Overall… I’d give it 6 out of 10.

When you enter the lobby there might be a nice first impression. But that’s all. If your room is below 7th floor you can expect dirty walls, carpets, outdated furnitures and bathrooms. The room smelled very bad. Just one person from the staff was kind and helpful during my 3-night stay. All other staff in the reception are mostly rude, they don’t care about the hospitality. The luggage room isn’t locked and anyone might take your staff. The pool towels - please check if it’s clean and not ripped. And you can expect there is no clean towels afternoon. I wonder why there are different rules everyday. One day I could have a breakfast on the terrace, the next day I was informed I had to pay extra to eat there. I don’t know why I got a voucher to the 17th floor lounge while the rest of my group didn’t. The lounge is nice, clean and quiet. It’s a much different standard than the other parts of the hotel. The dome - please be careful of falling pieces of glasses from the roof. The food was okay, the pork was amazing but that’s all. Unfortunately I’m not happy about my stay, it’s not a 5* hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it anyone.

The service in the restaurant was consistently disappointing. We were shown to our table by the staff and naturally assumed they would take our drink order immediately, but unfortunately, they did not. We often had to get the staff’s attention ourselves in order to receive cutlery or place drink orders. On several occasions, orders were incomplete or incorrect, such as missing cutlery for one guest, receiving the wrong type of drinks and not receiving all the drinks that were ordered, hardly surprising, since the waiter turned and left before we had even finished ordering. We expected a higher level of service and attentiveness from the restaurant staff. In addition, the pool area at The Dome was closed throughout our entire stay. This was not communicated to us in advance, nor was it clearly stated on the hotel’s website. We asked and the staff nor the reception did not know why it was closed. Our children were particularly disappointed, as they had been looking forward to using the pool during our holiday.
