8/10 Very good

Room was very clean as was the lobby area. Plenty of parking available The breakfast area was crowded, and children had made a mess all over the place. There was only one waffle maker for a whole room of people so the staff was annoyed that people were waiting as breakfast was ending by the time, I finally got to the waffle maker there was no waffle mix left. Children were running through the halls, misbehaving and banging on people’s doors. Due to whether we asked for a late checkout and we were told no.

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Lovely pool, and great breakfast options. Great stay overall. Just a comment on the bathroom layout--could use more counter space and more hooks or bars to hang towels.

6/10 Good

Did online check-in and waited for digital key as I always do. Check-in time came and went and several hours later app still said that the room was being prepared. Had to go to the front desk only to be told that the room was ready. Not a big deal… But frustrating. Woke up at 6 AM to loud hallway music playing, open the door to find a speaker right above room 112 where we were staying. I’ve never been in a hotel where the hallway music was playing let alone loud enough to wake people up. Went down for breakfast only wanted a banana, bananas were complete mush! Not the typical standards that we have come to know from other Hampton Inn locations. We travel to the area several times each summer, for baseball, not horrible but a few things that need rectification…especially the music playing in the hall so early and loud.

King size bed was too high. it was difficult to climb in and out of. Not enough light in the room due to no overhead lighting. It was dark. Overall ok for one night.

Excellent staff, Extremely Clean, Eveything was great except the TV only has about 20 channels 😏….

Getting run down. No upkeep except for sloppy bathroom caulking and shoddy paint. Handles missing kitchen cabinets. Water shut off for sink because drain is backed up and leaks. Exterior falling apart and overgrown grounds are not kept up.

Family room and Suite do not mean separate rooms. You get a couch added to the room. Breakfast was not great. Coffee weak, grumpy service person, tables left sticky. Desk person didn’t seem knowledgeable or knew if our room was ready long after check in time. Dirty parking lot with spilled chocolate candy my dog almost ate.

4/10 Fair

Very poor lighting outside at night. Room was cramped, mattress super soft. The thermostat control was awful, it was either to cold or to hot. TV malfunctioning at night called down to desk who said to turn it off but control did not work. We had asked for another room prior to check in. She stated full but when I called to complain about the TV I was told they could change my room Hmmm… who was not telling the truth? Night shift female only wanted to be on phone. The man that checked us out in the AM was more interested in smoking, which we had to walk through. This is the only Hampton inn without dark roast coffee. They said they have not made it since Covid. So if u like a cup of hot brown water go for it. The breakfast attendant would not speak even when spoken to. The only brag that I can give is the water is HOT.
