Longview Express Inn

This was a horrible experience on Hotels.com's part. When I booked this hotel, the first picture that came up was a picture of a Holiday Inn Express, however, I must have missed the print stating this was the "Longview Inn." I booked this hotel for a night stay with some friend's and was throughly embarrassed when we arrived. The hotel was under total construction/renovation. There were construction workers everywhere. I wasn't even sure if the hotel was open for business. My friends were willing to give it a chance. Inside, there were paint cans exposed, unpainted walls, and junk laid out in common area. Thankfully, our room was completed and nice on the inside. But when we went to lay down and rest, the construction workers in surrounding rooms and outside were making noise. This also happened and woke us up at 8:30 am on Sunday morning. I didn't even bother with the continental breakfast this morning as I was so uncomfortable with the work going on around me. I would have never picked this hotel if I would have been informed that it was still being completely renovated. I'm not sure who is at fault (Hotels.com or Longview Inn), but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the next coming month.

Under construction to renovate but bed was NEW! Room carpet was NEW! Breakfast was excellent but missed the hot cinnamon rolls. Everyone was super kind. On my remember list!

Place needs a deep clean, they are remodeling a few rooms, but place could use a serious work over. Everything else was good, beds, location, etc. Breakfast lady needs training and some manners. She has done this twice since I been going there. She starts cleaning up taking trash out while people are still eating and there still 30 min before she takes it down. Actually I would fire her
