Hard to give a fair review as the boiler was broken when we arrived and left the hotel without cold water for a few days but other than not being informed on arrival staff were helpful and offered up solutions that meant we were moved to a room with it's own boiler for the next couple of nights. All round friendly staff with the bar staff and receptionists particularly helpful. Spa area was of a high standard too and despite no hot water it was an enjoyable time. Excluding the water issue it was an enjoyable time and somewhere worth spending a relaxing weekend.

Fairly Basic hotel. Views were nice. Room needs refreshing and Surcharge for spa which was not stated in Hotels.com literature was disappointing as this was the main reason for booking here and so I did not get to use the spa

Lovely stay the only down side is that the water is extremely hot which didn't matter to me as having a bath was fine just you may struggle if you wanted a comfortable shower.

Staff were helpful at every encounter. We stayed in a suite which was very tired. The AC did not work, There was one small shower gel in the bathroom and the TV in the bedroom was very old. The hotel itself stands in lovely grounds and as mentioned the staff were great. The wellness spa was not fully operational which we were not informed of and no discount was offered. The stay was reasonably priced so these issues did not ruin the stay it was just a shame.

Staff were fantastic throughout my stay of 4 days, I didn't manage to use the facilities though. Breakfast was great well worth it to start the day right.

Dated rooms - but clean Bed sheet was extremely scratchy I had to sleep on the duvet and fold it over to cover myself Extremely warm with an ancient fan attempting to cool the room No room service menus in the room Must pay extra to use spa facilities No water in rooms Minimal bathroom products No plug sockets by bedside Ceasar salad was swimming in dressing

I was one of a quite a few wedding guests staying at the hotel? Luckily our room had Aircon which was lovely but I know quite a few of the other rooms didn’t have Aircon so I think that would be advisable to be put in all the rooms

Nice location, but VERY outdated. Stayed Friday to Monday, 1st 2 nights loud groups (Golfers) outside the building and through the hallways from 11pm to 3am both nights having a good time but got to the point where staff should of stepped in. Sunday Night was great very peaceful. Food was really good quality in the evenings but a very small choice, so wanted something different the next couple of nights so went else where. Breakfast was very basic to the point only coffee available was instant sachets. Staff was really friendly and seemed generally interested for the reasons you was staying there.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was spotless. We had a lovely breakfast each morning. The coffee in the restaurant was good, not so good in the room. The rooms don’t have usb ports or aircon. Not all rooms are accessible via the lift so if you have accessibility issues you should check this out before booking. There is plenty of parking and there are charging points. And if you’re a golfer this is the place to stay.
