We stayed here for one night as a stop-over break on our journey to Southern France and Tours is a great place to relax and eat out. This hotel was in very good condition, very clean, friendly staff right in the centre of the city with off-road secure parking. We had a family room, which was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included for free in the price which made it very good value and the children were able to eat well with lots of choice. Checking in/out was very straightforward. The only reason it wasn’t a 5* review was that we would have liked some drink making facilities in the room to make coffee/tea which isn’t much to ask for. Otherwise a very good cost effective hotel to stay.

Staff were brilliant and spoke excellent English even though I did try to speak French! Confusing instructions on Hotels.com re. parking which ask you to phone and reserve and when I rang the hotel, they told me we don't have to ring and reserve parking, just turn up. A bit difficult to know here the Ibis car park is and how to get into it, as there is a ground floor open air one and then a basement one which both look a bit narrow to get into. We double-parked and went into ask and I spoke to a really helpful young man on reception who told us what to do to open the barrier and were able to find a space in the open air car park. One member of staff, Fatoumata, deserves special mention. She went above and beyond to help me when I gave a complicated request to try and track down some perfume I wanted to buy for my mother which she had bought on a previous trip at a visitor centre for a chateau. She rang the property and waited patiently for about 20mins for them to answer. She finally spoke to someone in the gift shop for me to enquire about the perfume - as it was complicated I couldn't have managed with my standard of French language! It saved us driving out there 40mins to find out they no longer sold the perfume so I am so grateful she went above and beyond to help with my slightly odd request. Went to the restaurant around the corner Au Coin Gourmand - fantastic and wonderful steak with super wine. We felt the Ibis restaurant a little pricy for the food on offer.

Très bien accueilli par cet hôtel. La chambre qu’on m’a proposé était nouvelle, peut-être trop nouvelle, on sentait un peu l’odeur de la nouvelle peinture. Il fallait juste ouvrir les fenêtres pendant quelques minutes pour que l’odeur disparaisse. Sinon, le lit était confortable ainsi que les coussins, avec la climatisation optimale. J’ai très bien dormi que je me suis réveillé tard et étais un peu juste pour le petit déjeuner compris. L’hôtel est très accessible, très bien desservi et à proximité de lieux touristiques.

Petit déjeuner complet, le personnel en salle très serviable avec sourire : un bonheur pour démarrer la journée. Parking en sous sol réservable a l'avance par onepark (peu cher vs hotel vs autres parking et parcmetre de la ville). Bref je reviendrai. Point peut etre à améliorer: plus d'ouverture pour accès parking, car il faudrait manœuvrer la voiture vraiment face à l'accès.
