The hotel itself is very nice and very British pub style and very well maintained. However the room lacked that extra care and found strawberry leaves in the hallway and the area around the bathtub had not been cleaned for a long time. There were broken items lying in the window. Staff were super nice and welcoming. Coffee and tea available in the room.

Our family room was huge, quiet, and clean. It is very confusing as to where EXACTLY you go to check in. The bar tender checks you in. Our bags were safely stored at the sister property, but our reservation kept making reference to the "main building." Don't let the picture of a major staircase throw you off. There is an elevator. Other than location confusion we enjoyed ourselves.

There's no 24/7 reception, you only see staff when the pub is open, however you have access to the doors with your keycard. One small note, the hotel is dated, and it could do with a carpet change.

A totally okay hotel if you are mostly planning on just sleeping in the room and if you need to be close to the central station. I really missed having proper "reception" and staff at the hotel. It felt kind of weird that the people working in the bar are also the people doing the check in. Do not expect to find any staff until 16 in the afternoon, there is nobody to assist with your needs. This hotel worked this time due to me coming to Malmö and taking train to Copenhagen most days, but I would definitely not book this hotel if I were to have a vacation in Malmö.

The breakfast and the staff at breakfast and at the bar down the road were polite and accommodating. However the fact that you need to check in at the bar and make your way to the hotel building without any staff was confusing. Especially when carrying lots of luggage. I tried to email the hotel well in advance before my stay to ask about a baby cot but never got a reply.

Smells like excrement!

We had booked 2 rooms and had to check in late. When we got to the rooms, they smelled like gas and excrement. The hotel is under reconstruction, and we were not warned in any way. Windows could not be opened, so there was no way to get fresh air in. We had to check out at midnight and find another hotel 7 kilometers away. Currently, there is no compensation for the extra costs associated with the taxi and other hotel. Hotels.com gave a small voucher for the inconvenience, but nothing that covers the extra cost and inconvenience.
