Cute little place. No coffee machine and no air con (although they did have fans). The bathroom is a bit strange, all glass walls and visibility, which some might not like. Lovely old building, great check-in and helpful person on the desk, and a cheeky half-bottle of wine to make us happier. Parking was a PITS but that's just the location, which is really handy for the centre (Scherlenka brewery etc)

We loved this hotel! My family of 5 stayed here for 1 night. The hotel was conveniently located, clean and we were able to stay in a family room that accommodated all of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Very unique check-in after hours -- uses a code box to get key -- really liked it. Highly recommend property. It was in a good area of town to walk anywhere to restraunts and bars. Was clean and easy to check into -- highly recommend. We had room 10 that is two single beds and worked out great for our singles travel. Highly recommend -- would absolutely stay here again

8/10 Very good

We stayed at this lovely old hotel in a beautiful part of medieval Bamberg and had two double rooms booked. Oddly, one room had air‑conditioning while the other did not. Given the very warm weather, room 3 was quite uncomfortable with only a floor fan provided. Another small but surprising inconvenience was the absence of a kettle or tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. At the rates being charged, a simple kettle would make a meaningful difference to guest comfort. These may seem like small details, but they do matter, and for that reason I’m giving a lower rating.
