Clean room, great bar and restaurant food. Room a little dated but staff very friendly and welcoming.

Super restaurant, friendly staff. We found the rooms very noisy with drunk people in the corridor several times during the nights we stayed. The shower was very low pressure and small. Beds very comfortable and really spacious rooms.

We stay here often because the place is so close to A1 on longer trips. The pool is amazing or kids love it and the sauna is great for us. Three breakfast is lovely and the room was very clean and spacious. The prices are very reasonable for the rooms. The staff are very friendly

Nice couple of nights. Excellent food in the restaurant when taking an evening meal. OK breakfast. All the restaurant and room staff were courteous and friendly. A few issues with reception and booking staff. We are still waiting for the £100 holding payment to be refunded six days after returning home!! Appears that the accounts department is very quick to take and very slow to refund!!

6/10 Good

Reception and the bar area, nice, modern and although expensive, good food The pool was nice enough, clean and not too busy. The rooms are really really dated and in need of decoration and upgrades. Worse though is the air con which has similar power and effectiveness as a hamster on a wheel that doesn’t go around. It basically blows air already a hot room.

8/10 Very good

Our quadruple room was very clean and comfortable. It overlooked the golf course which was fun. The pool was great - our kids loved it. You were provided free pool towels every time you swam plus the changing rooms were brilliant - swimming costume dryers, lovely shower gel etc. The surrounding woods were brilliant for walks - our doggies loved it. The all you can eat style buffet breakfast was lovely - the kids especially loved the pancakes which you just had to ask for along side other cooked items like porridge and omelets. Check in was a little awkward as they wanted to charge £25 per dog per night (£100) which we weren't informed about via Hotels.com - the staff member insisted this was on the hotel website but I explained that we didn't book via the website. So in the end we had to keep the dogs in the open back of the pick up which wasn't ideal. Some younger members of wait staff were a little moody and unfriendly but in the whole it was fine.
