We enjoyed our stay. The buffet was okay, had plenty of options so you could find something to enjoy. Staff very friendly, but didn't like the upselling when we first checked in. We just wanted to get to our room after a long flight. Ayami was a great restaurant, and the hibachi experience is a must do! The pools were clean and the swim up bar was really fun.

The staff was amazing…! The hotel is older but well maintained. The bar service at the pool was great (Thanks Osvaldo!!!) Sad thing, but not the hotel’s fault is sargassum at the beach was terrible, we spent all week at the pool. The buffet food could do a little better too… Overall is a great hotel and would be amazing when no sargassum.

Hotel was super hot, getting into the elevator is like getting into a sauna! Food was terrible, not friendly to the non- pork eaters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6/10 — Honest Review of Krystal Grand Cancún I want to give an honest review of my stay at Krystal Grand Cancún. This is based on my personal experience, and compared with other all-inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at. 👍 THE GOOD Staff — 10/10 ❤️ No questions about this. The staff were friendly, approachable and generally very nice. Many employees genuinely tried to make our stay enjoyable. Beach — 10/10 🏖️ Beautiful beach and very close to the hotel. One of the best parts of the property. Drinks — 🍹 No complaints The liquor and drinks were good, and there was no issue there. 👎 THE NOT-SO-GOOD Food — 4/10 🍽️ This was probably my biggest disappointment. The food had very little variety, and it felt like we were eating the same things repeatedly. The first day was okay, but by the following days, we were honestly getting tired of it. My partner and I also experienced diarrhea during our last three days of the trip. I can’t say with certainty what caused it, but we personally had concerns about the food. We even encountered chicken that appeared undercooked, and I have photos documenting what we saw. For an all-inclusive resort, I expected much better food quality and variety. Room service — disappointing There were times when we couldn’t order food through room service until 1 PM. If you’re hungry earlier, you basically have to go down to the pool area. For me, that’s the whole point of room service — you shouldn’t have to leave your room just to get food
