Great location with most things in Monterey and Pacific Grove within walking distance. Staff were excellent, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Rooms were a great size, ensuite showers powerful and with plenty of hot water. Good quality soaps, shampoos etc and good facilities within the bedroom. The only slight downside is the decor and furnishings in the bedrooms are tired and dated and really could do with an overhaul. They also charge for parking and as the on street parking around the Inn charge for parking from 9am-8pm it leaves you no choice but to pay the $17 daily charge. Overall though a positive stay.

This was an outstanding venue. The rooms were large. All very clean and operational. A very good breakfast day with after cocktail hour. All of this within walking distance to wharf and cannery row. Short drive to lovers outlook. This is a 5 Star Hotel at 3 Star price. Thank you for outstanding accommodation and friendly service.

The location was great. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the noise factor would not bring me back. We had 2 rooms and both were terribly noisy. When our upstairs neighbors took a shower we could barely hear our TV. And the hallway noise outside our room was even worse. If you do book. Make sure to get the top floor at the end of the hall way.

Super helpful and welcoming staff. We requested two cribs for our toddlers and were accommodated. There was cider in the room to welcome us on arrival with a lovely handwritten note. Plenty of towels, soap, and wash cloths. The location is unbeatable; we walked everywhere and didn’t have to find a parking spot after arriving. The free breakfast was generous and filling. I wish we’d been able to try the wine and cheese hour but it coincided with dinner time for the little ones at 5. We 100% will recommend and return.

This was my second stay at this inn, and I plan on returning again! The staff was very helpful and check in was fast and efficient. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese before heading out to our evening. The breakfast was great, and the location of this inn is fantastic. The rooms are older but charming and very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location and staff but our bathroom was dirty when we arrived. I thinking it was an oversight and it would be cleaned on the second day but that didn’t happen. I finally cleaned the urine around the toilet myself. 😬. The breakfast was simple but OK. The entire hotel is “tired” but it is the cheapest option available close to Cannery Row. Don’t know if I would stay there again.

The staff was incredibly friendly, there were no issues with our stay. However, you can tell that the building is old, and carpet is dirty. The corners, the vents, the the ceiling, etc looked like they needed a deep clean. Its a beautiful building with charm,
