Everything met our expectation. The man at reception friendly and efficient and after 3 mins of arriving we were in our room. The bed was very comfortable and the premises very clean and tidy. We had a great stay at Ocean Breeze Hotel for three nights. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and quick. The location is ideal for us, offering beautiful views of the CBD and Harbour Bridge. Public transport options, including buses and ferries, are easily accessible for getting to the city or exploring the North Shore, and there are plenty of parking spaces available! The property could benefit from some maintenance, especially the exterior. The curtain in our living room couldn’t fully close, which was a bit annoying. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room was quite spacious, and the area was peaceful and quiet. We would definitely come back and stay here again in the future.

The front of the building looks quite exclusive with a 'grand' entrance and check in area. The room we had was like an apartment, came with a little kitchen, living area, balcony with harbour/waterview, big bathroom with washing machine! The back of the building and it's surroundings looks less maintained, it appears to be that there has been a slip or something happened to the steep bank which made me wonder how safe the parking area and the back of the building were.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Large well equipped room with a great view. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy free parking. Bayswater is quiet but the hotel is only a five minute walk to the ferry and a ten minute ride into the centre of Auckland. There is no restaurant open on site currently and no restaurants or shops nearby, so plan to shop and eat in central Auckland or in your room.
