Great experience! Friends recommended and this place did not disappoint. Huge hot tub, dog friendly, Spa Like bathroom, fire pits, food truck, drive-in movie and beautiful views. We stayed in an airstream which was clean and spacious. I would definitely be going back.

This was my second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first! The hotel is spotless and the staff is incredible — they always go above and beyond. I love that it’s dog friendly, which makes traveling so much easier. The food truck on site is delicious and the classic car drive-in is such a unique, fun touch. Already planning my next stay!

What a great find! I felt like we were not hip enough for this cool place. But w we old folks were treated fine! The fire pits in the common area were a great place to hang out. It was awesome. So many nice touches, nice design, well-maintained. Restrooms and showers were very nice and kept very clean. Lots of nice amenities in the tiny cabin, in the shower area, in the common fire pit area. Beautiful setting and very chill. Check in, check out, and nearly every other aspect of staying there was very easy and smooth. Pool and drive in theatre looked great, too, but we arrived too late take advantage. We would definitely stay again and for more than a single night.

We LOVED everything about this property! It was an awesome rustic experience. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin, which I highly recommend - otherwise, you must share a communal bathroom (which are impeccably clean). The food from the Food Truck was delicious. The Drive-in Movie Theater was a nostalgic blast from the past! We saw Jaws the 1st night, and The Princess Bride the 2nd night, while sitting in an old Studebaker!! Unforgettable memory.

this facility caters to a more specific clientele. We stayed in a refurbished AirStream and there are no bathroom , TV coffee maker. If that's ok with you stay here. They have very clean private community shower and toilets, but you naturally have to walk to them. Coffee is offered for free 7-11 and there is a food truck, which I got a good breakfast sandwich. They have a drive in theater with "classic cars" parked in front with a speaker and plus they provide free popcorn. Every site has a fire pit with a bundle of wood. Staff truly wants your stay to be good. My accommodations were just so-so.

The pool and hot tub were great! The pool was the attraction for us to book with Ofland Food at food truck was tasty and loved seeing the movies at the drive in set up. We sat in the old Ford pick up. Staff was friendly and helpful which was also really nice as well. We will recommend and also hope to be back

I would definitely stay here again. The staff is enthusiastic, to say the least, and would seemingly do anything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. I was skittish at first about the open-air showers in the bathhouse, but they’re perfectly private, and the adequately hot water and heat lamp kept the chill away. January might be a different story, however! My Airstream was more than large enough for one person. The small sink works for brushing teeth, hand and face washing, etc. One small minus is that it’s quite a walk from the parking area to the Airstreams and the smaller cabins, but I think it was a good idea to keep the vehicles away from the housing.

This place is amazing! Working in the hospitality industry my expectations are always high and very rarely met but this place far exceed them. Lean into the vibe of this place and do the Airstream. It's about the same size as the small cabins but they also have a sink and a countertop which the cabins do not. The Airstreams are a bit more rustic but what they lack in mod/cons are more than made up for by the bathrooms with the outdoor showers. The drive in movie theater is a really cool experience l and the pool feels great after a long hike in the desert. The staff are all extremely helpful and attentive. Plus the food truck is incredible! And they are absolutely dog friendly. They can go anywhere you can go. We will definitely be back.

There were so many thoughtful little details that improved our experience at ofland! Of course our cabin was adorable and we enjoyed our views of deer coming down to feed in the morning and gorgeous sunsets at night. The outdoor shower was a fun addition. At the lodge we were saved from the summer heat by the available ice and we loved fueling for our hikes with the complimentary coffee, fruits, and cereal treats (they were homemade and SO GOOD!!). We will likely be back to this desert oasis.

This place is incredible! If you are traveling with children, this is a must stay. Everything is catered to families and it makes it a wonderful stop. Escalante has great hikes — don’t miss Lower Calf Creek and the Petrified Forest — and a great rock shop. The bathrooms at Ofland were lovely, spa-like; the rooms extremely comfortable (except for the hard pillows); free coffee and snacks in the morning was very appreciated; and the food truck was off the chain delicious.

We didn't know what to expect, and we were blown away with everything about Ofland Excalante! Even though we only stayed one night, we took advantage of the pool, hot tub, free coffee and snacks, food truck, and drive in movie. There was a great supply of beverages, and snacks for purchase in the lobby. We were a bit nervous about not having a bathroom in our Airstream, but the bathroom/shower facilities were truly spa level and we loved the pampering they provided. We'll be back!!
