Loved this castle - especially for the price. Literally only 1 complaint- make the vanity’s water 1 combined faucet instead of 1 hot and 1 cold. The staff were superb, wonderful breakfast, clean, convenient and comfortable. Nice little town with amazing pubs and live music. Definitely recommend a stay here. Don’t miss the 6:30pm champagne story hour with the owner of the hotel.

Do not hesitate to book a stay at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel. Everything was top notch. Friendly, helpful staff, historic building with modern amenities, excellent food, cozy pub. I cannot speak to the spa services because we did not have time to partake of them, but I would guess it is a fantastic experience. Don't miss out!

The grounds were lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. The manager was engaging and the history of the castle over the years was interesting. Food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Our room was spacious with great view - really was everything I’d hoped for. Wonderful clawfoot tub with bath salts for relaxing after day at Kylemore Abby and Connemara park. Would absolutely recommend. If we return to Ireland this will be on our list.
