I have stayed at this wonderful hotel many times since 11 years ago and it is the only hotel I would like to stay while in Trollhattan, Sweden. Friendly staff, quality room, with swimming pool and sauna, and wonderful breakfast. Cannot ask for more.

Horrible bed and dirty!

When you book a room with a queen bed it’s no acceptable to get two singel beds pushed together with one large mattress on top. The two beds kept gliding apart the big mattress sagging in the middle. Shower room had stains on tiles and signs of black mold.

We broke a cup and was threatened with police inditment after we left. Wrote them a polite e-mail offering to pay the 1500SEK they demanded for the cup, no reply. Not a hotel we will visit again.

Vi var der med en familie på to voksne og to børn. Da vi kom sagde personalet at jeg ikke havde booket morgenmad hvilket jeg er helt sikker på at jeg havde. Den dokumentation kunne jeg ikke finde - heller ikke på hotels.com. Jeg måtte betale. De informerede mig ikke ved ankomst om, at jeg skulle booke rengøring af værelser dagligt. Når man kommer med tre børn ønsker man at få tømt skrald og redt senge hver dag. Det fik vi tre ud af fem dage og måtte lægge skrald ved siden af skraldespanden (slet ikke godt nok til pris og standart). Personalet forsøgte at være venlige, men det føltes overfladisk og de skulle have hjulpet mere når man står med tre børn. Ellers var hotellet fint og værelser og pool små men fine nok. Jeg synes, at Scandic plejer at være bedre.

Jag har bott åtskilliga nätter på Hotell Swania. Kanske upp till 70 gånger. Det är inte hotellet i sig som är underbart. Det är personalen till 100%. Jag har aldrig varit på ett hotell med en personal som alltid gör det lilla extra. Tar alltid lite tid för att snacka. Undrar om de kan göra någonting mer. Maten har sakta men säkert fått ett litet uppsving. Vet att personerna jag pratat med om detta gör allt vad de kan. Det få inte bli ett hotellhak där man i yttersta nödfall går yill restaurangen. Det måste hålla sådan klass att folk som inte bor på hotellet, ser det som ett alternativ att äta p hotellet för att maten är så bra! Frukosten, ja vad ska man säga? Personalen i frukostmatsalen överträffar allt jag varit med om. Servicen är helt otroligt! Kepp up the good work! Vänliga hälsningar Joakim
