Charming farm home

Wonderful experience. Our host and owner Pal ( pronounced Paul) was delightful. The farm home built in 1624 was amazing. The halibut dinner Pal prepared was one of the best meals of our trip.

Rustic Retreat Style in vintage farmhouse

Late 1800s style decor, shared restrooms, and rustic setting and approach to facilities. The owner is very helpful and the staff is very polite. Other lodgers very friendly and it adds to the experience. Communal dinners are served but we were sightseeing so didn’t partake.

Fabulous stay

We received such a warm welcome and exquisite hospitality from the owner, who shared so much knowledge of Norwegian life with us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. This stay has been a highlight of our trip to Norway.

Warm welcome

We have never had such a warm and friendly welcome. Don't be put off by the dirt track leading to the house, perfectly manageable on a motorbike. We were greeted with a smile and a cup of tea which was very welcome. There is the opportunity to have a meal and it was one of the best meals of the holiday. Beautiful house in a beautiful area hosted by wonderful people. If we are ever lucky enough to return to the area we will definitely return.

Vi bodde 2 nätter med våra 3 hundar och trivdes fantastiskt bra! Vi blev otroligt väl omhändertagna av ägaren och åt 2 fantastiska frukostar och middagar! Hela huset med dess fantastiska inredning och alla fina saker gör att man genast går ner i stressnivå och känner ett fantastiskt lugn. Fåret som gästvänligt kommer och hälsar ute och katterna som kommer och stryker sig mot benen inne förhöjer lugnet ännu mer! Och det spännande djurlivet runt gården - vi såg älgar nära vägen och gården varenda dag! Vi fick ett rum nära en sidoingång vilket gjorde det enkelt att ta hundarna ut och in. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende,

En gammal mysig gård på landet med djur på gården. Ägaren var mycket hjälsam och berättade många spännande historier. Huset är som ett gammalt hem. Påminner om Carl Larsson gården. Huset är gammalt så det knakar lite här och där när man går men det är charmen. Inget för en stadsbo dock. Kan verkligen rekommendera för den som vill ha det annorlunda.

Un séjour qui change des autres. L'impression d'être reçu chez des amis, dans une ancienne maison de famille d'où se dégage une impression de vieille Norvège accueillante et rassurante. Les échanges avec les propriétaires (ou avec d'autres clients) sont sympathiques, aimables, bienveillants, amusants, enrichissants. On est très loin des hôtels de chaîne et c'est tant mieux ! Rien n'est aseptisé, chaque objet a sa place, et on voudrait y rester longtemps pour en profiter encore plus, parler de tout et de rien, profiter du temps qui passe. Mon chien a de plus été reçu comme un roi. Un peu intrigué par certains commentaires, j'ai tenté une étape différente, et je ne le regrette absolument pas : faites comme moi !
