Due to wife's mobility/balance issues, we booked an accessible room. The facilities appeared outstanding at first, but we discovered that the shower was either designed poorly or installed incorrectly so that much of the water flowed out onto the bathroom floor instead of all going down the drain. The manager acknowledged that he knew that room had the problem but did not or could not move us, and instead said just to use more towels to mop up the water. A floor with standing water is especially hazardous to someone with balance problems. Fortunately, we sustained no injuries. Also, our room was right next to the back door which was supposed to have been kept locked with room key admittance. It never locked while we were there, and anyone could have gained access. Again fortunately, that door opened onto an area which was pretty secluded.
