Great location with great restaurants and the port within walking distance. We rented bicycles from the hotel and enjoyed seeing the city via bicycle. Parking is under the hotel, and it is best to reserve a spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved this hotel! Comfortable, quiet room, with air conditioning and a quick lift to the top floor. Delicious breakfast, with loads of choice and helpful accommodation for gluten free and vegan options. Gym basic but grateful for it and the outside seating was calm, shady and relaxing. Right in the centre of everything, sights, shops and restaurants. Special shout out to the incredibly friendly and helpful Neil and Thomas for making our 20th wedding anniversary perfect, including calling restaurants in French for us to confirm reservations, and arranging for our bed to be scattered with rose petals etc. All the other staff were also wonderful. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Everything was spotless, well organized, and beautifully maintained. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely appreciated throughout our stay. The complimentary welcome drink was a lovely touch and set the tone for a great experience. The parking facilities were excellent, and the cool underground garage was a real bonus, especially during the warm summer weather. The location is outstanding. Situated right in the heart of the harbour, it is within easy walking distance of the Old Port, restaurants, cafés, shops, and all the main attractions of La Rochelle. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff, clean room. Great location for exploring La Rochelle by foot. My only comment for suggested improvement is that the bathroom door is a sliding door that does not fully latch. If bathroom privacy is a concern of yours, it might not be the room for you. Also I believe that Air conditioning was meant to be available in my room but it does not actually kick on (it locks and cannot be set below the hotel’s chosen temp). I would have been frustrated if the weather outside had been any hotter. Regardless, I would personally stay here again and would recommend.
