Nice basic/standard hotel- staff was extra friendly and welcoming! The guest were also very nice- which can make a difference in a stay- lots of couples and out of town workers. The exterior is dated but been refreshed. I would recommend- especially for the price- safe environment! Would 100% stay here again if traveling through! Did I mention how friendly the staff was- smiling and engaging and even as they worked with other guest you could tell they were happy to be at work!!

I stayed for just one night, but couldn't really sleep b/c of something I experienced in the room. The room was spacious and looked clean on entry. But I rolled over onto one of the pillows and came face-to-face with a baby cockroach late at night, so...no sleep till Brooklyn, basically. I showed and sent the desk clerk a pic of the mini-offender the next morning. Hopefully they bombed my room before the next person.

I've driven many laps between Knoxville and Nashville over the past 5 years, and can confirm this is the best hotel that I've found so far. It is dog friendly with a reasonable (as opposed to astronomically high) pet deposit, and it is in a great location with tons of dining options nearby. The pet friendly room was immaculate as was the lobby where they offered great coffee and pretty decent breakfast.
