Service was outstanding. The staff is helpful & incredibly kind. Julpha & Marlon were especially great given some of the issues we had. It is evident that people smoke EVERYWHERE because the sticky smell of stale smoke lingers in the halls, elevator, and rooms. The hotel does its best to mask the scent, but it’s there. Also, I phoned ahead and was told that the hotel would give us a day pass to the Edge gym down the road since they didn’t have a gym. When I arrived I found out that was not the case. For me, this is a deal breaker when I travel so I was disappointed. I bought my own day passes to the gym anyway, but the hotel shouldn’t advertise this service if they don’t have it.
The hotel otherwise is very clean, it’s obvious the staff takes pride in cleanliness. But there isn’t much that can be done with extremely outdated/old fixtures, linens, and furniture. The bed was a cot style mattress and uncomfortable. I will never stay here again. If it wasn’t for the wonderful service from Julpha, Marlon, and the staff I would have given 1 star across the board.
