We stayed at the Crewe Hotel and Spa to enjoy our first anniversary, and it wasn’t exactly what we imagined it, but it still did the job. The lady that I spoke to at main reception was lovely and helpful with any questions I had, but the room was a bit uncared for. The room was clean-ish; we found a hair in a wine glass, which, with a light shining on the glasses, was questionable how they missed it. The room and the hotel just seemed that it was in a state of repair. The cupboard door was hanging off, the sinks were both stuck close, and the bath wasn’t holding any water. Which, when letting main reception know, we were told there was no note of these damages. Also, while on our stay, we went to try the pool on the Sunday evening, and seems we had never been there before. I was unsure what to do, which didn’t help when we found that the lady on the reception for the pool was quite rude and a bit snappy with her answers to my questions. Sadly, we didn’t get to try out the bar or restaurant due to myself suffering with quite a few allergies, meaning that there was nothing on the menu for me. Apart from all that we did end up enjoying are break and had a nice stay.
