Location great, walkable to city centre and to main shopping area. Taxis always available too. Hop on hop off bus stopped v near hotel to get a tour of Berlin (recommended). Staff v helpful and courteous. Check in quick & easy. Loved the ever changing murals in main lobby area.

Stayed here for 3 nights with the family. The hotel comes highly recommended so we expected more. The family room was very humid for our entire as the AC unit basically just blows wind and there is a small window facing a side with little air. We also didn't get housekeeping for the entire stay. Management was responsive and apologetic when we complained so that's okay. We wouldn't mind staying again if we could get a better room with functioning air conditioning in the summer!

The check-in and out is done by a screen which was very slow and had technical errors. There was no staff there when we were checking out, not in the bar area either, which was very stressful when we had to leave by train and couldn't get any help. For us, this felt very unprofessional and annoying. Otherwise the lobby/bar area was nice and the room was big and clean, but quite outdated (and with the weird idea that you want to see through bathroom doors)

Lovely hotel - one of the best I stayed

Pleasantly surprised on how mordern and stylish the place was. It is enormous and complete with a lovely lobby area, very lively and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and beds were super comfy, clean and sparking new. The breakfast was very complete with plenty options for healthy, vegan, cooked, hearty - it kept me full the whole day whilst sightseeing - Excellent value for money. Overall me and my family loved the hotel and would come back without thinking.

Excellent, helpful staff. Unfortunately, this is a hotel designed by people who have never stayed in a hotel, not even once. You would think room 1701 is on the 17th floor. No. It’s on the 7th floor, and you have to switch elevators and walk down a long hall to get to the correct elevator. The checkout kiosk touch screen was nearly totally unresponsive. If someone makes a mistake, then, at the very end, they are told “you did not enter all the necessary information”. It doesn’t say what is missing. Instead, it kicks the customer right back to the starting page. Again, designed by someone who had never used it, not even once.
What a wonderful, artistic lamp! Unfortunately, it takes up nearly all of the table space next to the bed, so there’s no room for anything that *you* want to put there.

Hotel Berlin Berlin: Disappointing on Every Level I stayed at Hotel Berlin Berlin for two nights, and unfortunately, the experience was consistently frustrating. Check-in was a disaster: no staff available to help, and the self-check-in kiosks didn’t work. Once I finally accessed the room, the problems kept coming: • The bed creaked loudly with every movement. • The air conditioning didn’t function, making the room stuffy and uncomfortable. • Housekeeping failed to replace the towels, despite me leaving them on the shower floor as requested. • The room smelled like cigarettes, despite supposedly being smoke-free. • The phone next to the bed was useless—not just unplugged, but missing a cord entirely, which caused me to miss important calls. Elsewhere in the hotel, the lobby barista was rude and unprofessional, and the self-check grocery shop was a rip-off, charging €5 for a small bottle of water. This was my second and final stay at this hotel. With so many better options nearby, I recommend skipping Hotel Berlin Berlin. Save yourself the disappointment.
