Nice location, close to everything. The property’s a little dated and the lobby is in the parking garage but overall it was fine for a quick trip.

Enjoyed the location of the hotel and proximity to the beach, restaurants, downtown area. The breakfast options were good and my family enjoyed it. Liked the quaint feel of the hotel. There were some aspects of the bathroom/shower that could be better updated. My family and I had a nice time and will come back.

Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Got woken up at 9am by housekeeping when checkout wasn’t until 11am and the vending machines are cash only but there’s no ATM. Walking distance to the beach and Encinitas, but no great walking route to the sidewalk from the hotel, you have to scramble down a steep dirt hill or walk down the driveway where there’s no sidewalk.

I stayed in a King Suite, and it was a beautiful room, with balcony with a great view. Room was well worth my money, I will definitely be staying here again.

My stay here was good overall. The hotel room had some wear and tear but they seem to be maintained well. The Keurig and mini fridge was a nice touch. My room was clean and I didn’t have any noise disturbances during my stay so that was a plus. I would stay here again.

Spacious, clean room with a beautiful view of the ocean. We booked a double queen with a pull out sofa being a family of four. Free breakfast daily which was a typical hotel breakfast. Nice pool. Gym and laundry on site. Would be nice to see the hotel restaurant revived and a set of stairs installed in place of the steep dirt path they have as a shortcut to the street below. Very close to Moonlight Beach, our favorite spot in Encinitas. We would stay here again!
