Room was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, and the attendant was friendly. There was a kitchen area, which is lucky, as we didn't have any forks or chopsticks in our take-out. We were able to borrow a fork and return it.

The guest house has a good location at the top of the Ave de Libedade, with good views. It is in a street full of attractive 1920s properties, with a small supermarket close by. Staff were welcoming. It is on the 5th floor with an old fashioned lift. There is a shared kitchen facility for the use of guests

Casa Belmonte was easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced! From the spacious and beautiful room, the location, the view, amazing bathroom, the privacy, ease of access and then especially because of the staff. In particular the person at the desk who greeted and helped check in and out, Hugo. He was exceptionally nice, so professional, and right away, I wished my stay was longer since he had so much insight into the city, its sights and insider details about every location. If you have any choice in where you stay and are considering this one, do it!! You won’t regret a second of it!

Good location and amenities

The positives were that the rooms had a kettle, coffee machine and a bar fridge and we had use of the nearby kitchen. The staff were all very friendly. The location was good, very close to public transport, cafes, supermarkets and shopping. The negatives however, was that the mattress in room Beato needs replacing. I was given a mattress topper when i asked but it didnt help me aleep any better. My back was quite sore. The walls had no soundproofing, i was woken by the people in the next room and people using the kitchen after midnight. Apart from that, i enjoyed my stay and would probably stay again if i had a more comfortable bed.

Fantastic location near metro, restaurants, supermarket and Avenida Liberdade. Room was small but well equipped and there are common areas for eating/relaxing that were never occupied while we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Would definitely go back if ever in Lisbon again.

It was a fine place to stay! Close to a metro stop. It’s on the fifth floor of the building so climbing up 100 steps can be tough if the elevator isn't working.
