Not only is this hotel in the most perfect location and a truly remarkable experience, our main highlight was the staff who went above and beyond to recommend the best places, upgraded our room, kept the breakfast buffet open a bit late for us and made sure our stay was beyond perfect!

The staff are unfailingly friendly and clearly hard-working, a combination that becomes easier to explain once you notice how thinly stretched they are across the number of guests they’re covering. Rooms run smaller than advertised, the trade-off for an entrance foyer built into the floor plan. The ceilings are dramatically high, an effect somewhat offset by air conditioning that can’t settle on a temperature, cycling between too warm and too cold. Ground floor rooms sit close enough to neighbouring buildings that anyone there can see straight in through the high windows, so the blackout blinds stay drawn, at which point the room takes on the atmosphere of a cave. The building’s age announces itself through a persistent damp smell in the bedroom. The bathroom is well appointed, if you don’t mind slippery tiles and a shower door that doesn’t open past a bath towel, so the step from shower to floor is taken on equally slick ground. Be careful. The extractor fan is loud enough to make sleep impossible. Breakfast is adequate. Some small hotels treat the guest experience as the whole business. Others seem to bank on guests never returning, and price their conduct accordingly. Here, assurances given warmly at the desk may be withdrawn by management once you’ve checked out, “hotel policy” trumping whatever you were told and relied upon. A pleasant stay, provided you keep one eye on the bill, but offering poor value for money, given the ambience of tension created by management.

Q92 is a very special hotel. It is quaint, yet surprisingly spacious. It is thoughtfully curated and very beautifully decorated. Our room was was absolutely magnificent! It is perfectly located, within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops. But what makes it even more special is their wonderful staff. They are incredibly kind and very helpful.

There’s a reason why there are rooms still available at this hotel. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything outside, rooms are close to all common areas, rooms do not look like the photos (false advertising), the manager is a phony. We were so disappointed with our one night there that we decided to switch hotels for our second night and they we not refund us for the night we did not spend there. If you come across Q92, run don’t walk to Gagliardi boutique hotel. Half the price and twice as nice

I was initially concerned about parking but there was a parking lot about 50m in front of the hotel which cost us about 5EU for the 1 day. The drive in and out was easier than I thought for a city centre. The hotel sign was visible from the parking lot. We were greeted warmly and things were explained to us well by the staff. They greatly cared about our experience. The place is very beautifully decorated and my window opened out to the main street on the second floor which was great. Still quiet enough. The building is very old but renovated extremely well and had advanced technology. The breakfast was a 10m walk from our room which we loved and it was beautifully displayed. It was good and filling. Overall I would highly recommend it. Noto is a beautiful city. Noto has a little train ride around the city for 10EU which I enjoyed

A quality boutique hotel

Q92 is a family-owned boutique hotel located in a beautifully renovated building in the heart of Noto. One can tell from the warm, personalized welcome upon arrival that every care has been taken to make this place feel unique, and the staff take every care to make you feel at home (and more!). Something that makes this place particularly special are the common areas consisting of balconies and sitting rooms around the hotel, all of which are a dream to relax in during a warm Sicilian afternoon. The staff of the hotel are also all very gifted mixologists, who delighted us with some of their delicious concoctions! Our room was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud! If there was *one* small gripe it would be that some rooms have an accessible toilet/WC, which was incredibly tall and pretty uncomfortable to use. Other than that, I would heartily recommend Q92 for your Noto stay!
