Hotel is very well located, on a pedestrian street near of shops, restaurants, etc. Main plaza and Cathedral is only 2 blocks away. Staff very friendly. Hotel and room very clean. I would return to Hotel Real de Castilla.

Great historic property in the heart of Guadalajara Centro. Our room and bathroom were a bit on the small side, but the AC, hot water and other amenities were all great and the hotel was an excellent base point for exploring the city on foot and by car. Loved that it was a historic location. Restaurant offered solid basic breakfast options to start the day. A bit more personality in the rooms (decor) would go a long way 😉 but definitely would stay here again for the value.

I love how the staff was very welcoming they made me feel safe and as I was in home . I really enjoyed the excursion to Tequila I recommend it even if you aren't a tequila drinker . Once you experience the tour you'll have a whole different respect of the process ... The location was perfect and safe right in the historic center....

The location is perfect walking distance to downtown Guadalajara. There’s lots of eating options around you. As for the hotel it’s self it’s always super clean and the staff was excellent. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we had to return to the hotel before 9:30 PM to be able to park the car in the garage. Otherwise it would stay out on the street. Also, one of the reasons we ended up selecting this hotel in particular was because it had bar. But all they had was beers which is not what we were expecting. But other than that we really liked it.
