When booking the room, we requested accommodations upon our arrival. They were not completed. We got to the hotel 20- 30 minutes early. They still wanted to fight with us to pay an extra 27.00 plus tax so we can get in our room. We traveled out of state for a funeral. This early check in, I can understand if we were hours early but not by 20 minutes. I found this to be upsetting. When we got in to the room, the tables still had residue from a previous guests' drink or something. The pillow cases had stains on them and when we went to check out, I pulled back all the sheets to help housekeeping. The mattress covers were disgusting. I was upset that every time we wanted to watch tv we had to have the front desk come to our room to switch the input. This was just a constant inconvenience. The shower walls were not cleaned. There was soap still left on the walls. There was very little toilet paper left in the room. We had to go ourselves to the front desk to get more. The keys would stop working and the front desk just kept giving me new cards with out bothering to see that they were not working. It was not until the check out date was there someone that wanted to come see why they would not work. Come to find out the battery was dead in the door. We came for a family member that passed away, we had enough to deal with without needing to deal with hotel stay issues. Over all, I wasnt impressed with the room.
