Automation gone bad

The hotel uses an automated check-in system. There is no way to check in using your normal credit card with a person behind the counter. The system was down and for 30 minutes, they tried to get it fixed. Fortunately, the end keeper was very nice and let us stay in our room anyway. When I came back by this morning, I was able to take care of anything I needed to take care of.

I have stayin in another hotel in Van Horn a few times but they were booked up this trip. From now on, with these trips I will be staying here! The staff was friendly and did an excellent job of a quick check in and check out. The facility was very clean and uo to date. It was a very comfortable experience.

Questionable but the sheets seemed clean

The room was filthy and smelled horrible but the bed sheets seemed clean and it was late & raining so we decided to stay and just leave really early. The place also looked like a hub for either construction workers or something so I don’t recommend women traveling alone to stay here.
