greeting staff person at entry was abrupt and unfriendly.
bedroom and bathroom did not feel or look clean.
During late evening someone kicked or beat very hard on our door as if they were seeing if it might open. I called to the front desk, the phone rang many times with no answer before I stopped trying to reach the desk. We were afraid. I considered calling the police because there was no help available from the front desk. Several minutes later, I called the front desk number again and after several rings he answered and said he would send security. Minutes later a security person knocked, and when asked, identified himself as "security." I opened the door, explained the bang on the door. He said he didn't see anyone on the floor. I let him know it had occurred 10-15 minutes ago and told him the desk had not answered. He said the desk person had been off somewhere else. He left us and we again locked the door. We did not feel safe.
