I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, but this was hands-down one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. After driving seven hours from Denver, exhausted and just wanting to check in and sleep, I was turned away because their own equipment couldn’t scan my ID. My ID is perfectly valid, yet because their scanner wasn’t working properly, they refused to check me in.
No workaround, no effort, no common sense. Just “we can’t help you.”
It was late, I was exhausted, and instead of staying at the hotel I had already booked, I had to go find another one. Completely unacceptable.
Never again. If a hotel can’t even manage the basics—like checking in a guest who already has a reservation—then what’s the point? Skip this place and save yourself the frustration.
