La Mare resort staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The boat house was clean and comfortable and in great condition and the area was peaceful. The resort was however very far away from any public transportation and we had to take an Uber into the city and sights. The Ubers were affordable but the cost did add up.

We weren't sure when we arrived to find ourselves in the middle of an industrial estate but once we'd settled in we really enjoyed our stay. It's about a 10 min walk to the tram - get yourself a day pass as it makes life so much easier and it even includes the ferries to the archipelago. The boat was comfortable and well equipped. We slept very well.

Novelty of staying on a houseboat is fun, and the place was nicely laid out and clean. However, there is essentially nothing in the immediate area for dining or amenities. There's a plaza of stores about 2km away. Immediate vicinity is a bit gritty and public transport is limited. It was odd to feel isolated yet look across the harbor and see a bustling city. A car or Uber is almost a must. My houseboat had a swampy smell to it. It wasn't the marina; the air outside smelled fine. Maybe need to clean a bilge pump or something.

The properties are located close to commercial buildings / ship yard, so noise is to be expected. We had this 07:00 - 18:00. It personally did not bother me. LaMare houseboats are cosy, with the main enterance (on our houseboat) going through the one Bedroom. The small kitchen onboard met our needs, and had all the required utensils (although a tea pot would have been nice)

The property was nice and clean. However, check in experience was not pleasant. It said check in time is 4pm but it did not say you can ONLY check out at 4pm! It didn’t ask guests about the check in time. When I was there earlier, no one was there to open the gate. Only when I called the resort, a guy came back and told me he could only stay for 10 mins to check me in. Arrangement could be much better.

Tyvärr en väldigt dålig upplevelse och inte alls prisvärt. Det var dåligt skyltat och svårt att förstå vart man skulle gå när man kom. Vi fick själva leta efter personal, och samma sak varje gång vi behövde hjälp. När man ringer är det dessutom ingen som svarar. Vi fick nästan ingen sömn eftersom det pågick någon form av festival precis bakom hotellet med mycket oväsen. Sängen var dessutom alldeles för mjuk och väldigt smal, kanske bara 70–80 cm bred. Hela boendet gav mer känslan av ett vandrarhem än ett hotell – men priset var definitivt hotellpris. Parkering kostade dessutom 200 kr, vilket vi tycker är dyrt med tanke på vad man redan betalar för boendet. In- och utcheckningstiderna känns också väldigt snåla: incheckning först kl. 16 och utcheckning redan kl. 10. Dessutom ingår ingen frukost. För det priset hade vi förväntat oss betydligt bättre service, komfort och tillgänglighet. Vill man åka iväg för att koppla av och vara utvilad skulle jag tyvärr inte rekommendera detta boende.

Väldigt trevligt och annorlunda boende. Mysigt att man kan sitta på sin privata terass vid vattnet och dricka sitt kaffe på morgonen. Sängen var mycket bra. Bäddsoffan var lite trasig. Men gick att använda. Och på morgonen lyckades jag lösa ut säkringen för elen. När jag använder spisen. Och det tog mig 30 min att hitta säkringen ute på bryggan.

Rommene (husbåtene) var veldig flotte. Det var rent og ryddig, med unntak av litt svarte flekker på gulvet i dusjen. Fine soverom med gode senger, fint kjøkken med det vi trengte, hyggelig oppholdsrom inne og nydelig uteplass på baksiden med utsikt mot havet. Barna stor koste seg og vi skulle gjerne ha blitt lenger. Enkelt å få parkert, rolig og stille område. Veldig hyggelig personale som var meget hjelpsomme. En hyggelig liten restaurant som vi ikke benyttes oss av denne gangen, men vi så mange som hygget seg og spiste mat som så god ut. Litt langt unna butikker så anbefales å handle før man kommer dit. Alt i alt ett kjempe fint opphold på et flott sted. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake!

Husbåt i fint skick. Båtarna ligger nära varandra så en hel del insyn och även ljud från närliggande båtar och intilliggande industrihamn. Relativt bra ljudisolering. Vattnet är inte drickbart så ta med flaskvatten. Finns diskmaskin, kyl, spis, mikro. Doft av bensin från diskmaskinen, möjligen från vattnet när den körs. Helt ok boende.
