Reception is up on 2nd floor, no worries lift close at hand. Reception staff very friendly and I managed to get an early check-in, which is always good.
For some rooms you have to go back down and cross the Garden Bar (doesn’t open until 5pm) and then take another lift to the floor.
Room was a decent size. Decor, industrial. Comfy bed, good Aircon and I had a side view out over where the funicular runs.
Bathroom very clean, tidy. Yes, the shower cubicle is a bit industrial too, but good water pressure and hot water, so no complaints.
I was there mid-week, so didn’t notice any noise.
Breakfast was great. The lady serving was very helpful. I got a selection of meats, cheese and omelette. Set me up for the day.
Overall, it’s not the Hilton, but you’re not paying Hilton prices. As a short stay over, close walking distance to the sights etc, then you can’t go far wrong.
