This wasn’t our first time visiting Clearwater, but it was definitely our best stay yet! Our experience at Opal Sands was wonderful from beginning to end. The location is exceptional, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was exquisite. Everything really contributed to making our stay memorable. The only small drawback was that the pool bar closed a little too early for us, so we had to make our way downstairs to the main bar—which certainly wasn’t the end of the world! 😄 Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay at Opal Sands again. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Everything was great. Staff, food, views, amenities were all very wonderful. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because they didn’t have the room type we booked available. We booked a King Bed Spacious room weeks in advance, but at the time of check-in all they had were standard double-queen bed rooms.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this beach resort. The location is great, with beautiful ocean views (saw manatee, shark, and many bird varieties from our room balcony). It had good access to a clean and active beach. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax throughout the stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The resort facilities were excellent and well maintained. The food was decent with many good options within walking distance.
