Great hotel!

We loved the hotel. Staff were so friendly, family duplex rooms were great, ski in ski out fabulous, breakfast was lovely, freshly baked bread every morning - the fruit one was especially delicious!! Amazing views from our balcony!!! Our only improvement would be more hanging space for clothes and hooks by the door for ski coats!

This is the 4th year that I have stayed in a Les Etincelles hotel and based on this experience it will be the last. On arrival the room type that I had booked had been changed- significantly smaller bed, different bathroom- plus lipstick stained glasses, no plug for the bathroom sink, a shower curtain that was not connected to the wall and kept falling down and robes and slippers missing. Not what I expect from a 4* hotel. I attempted to resolve this with both the hotel directly and with Hotels.com as I simply wanted the room type that I had booked, but no help was forthcoming. At breakfast it was a game of find the coffee cup, find a plate and then find a clean table. That coupled with having to request refills for most breakfast items on most days meant that breakfast was not the best start to the day. Onto the positives - the staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly and personable, and often went over and above to make dinner time an engaging experience. The pizza from the bar menu made for a tasty lunch. Also the location, right next to the lifts was perfect for a ski in-ski out holiday.

A great modern hotel, but beware the shower temp!

A really nice, recently updated hotel with modern decor. The staff are super helpful and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. The hotel is in the perfect location less than 50m from the Toviere gondola lift and a similar distance to the nearest bus stop for the free shuttle bus to Val Claret. The terrace bar and restaurant are great places to chill or grab a bite to eat, with a chill party vibe in the afternoons. The only thing that could be improved was the shower. They desperately need thermostatic showers. As is the temperature changes constantly throughout every shower, and often switches in a second from lukewarm to scalding - there were several occasions where only my reactions saved me from a burn as it switched!

Loved our 3 night stay; really helpful reception, incredibly comfy beds and wonderful view. Superb breakfast too; everything you could possibly want to set you up for a day’s skiing. Plus of course the hotel could not be more ski-in ski-out - it’s right on the front du neige. Our only genuine suggestions for improvement are to have the bar open past 9pm, given that people return from dinner out and would like to have a drink.

Levanna - wonderful stay :-))

Hotel Levanna is perfectly located for beginners or experts being adjacent to the gondala , chairlifts and the beginners slope at Tignes -le-lac. We stayed in the duplex room on the 3rd floor which had wonderful views out over the lake and had a small balcony to sit out and watch the world go by. The hotel has a terrace overlooking the slopes where you can have your lunch or enjoy a drink. We stayed on a half board basis and you are able to take your evening meal in 1 of 4 nearby hotel restaurants which is great to have the option of a change of dining places. The staff throughout the hotel were always friendly , helpful and would assist with any issues or requests you asked of them.
