Very traditional Jersey b&b. All areas clean, breakfast was lovely as was Anna, she is so helpful and friendly. We had room 1 which had a partial sea view and had a double and single bed in it with lots of space. There were beach towels and some factor 30 by the front door which is a nice touch

Breakfast is very good & sets you up for the day. Host is very helpful & accommodating. No beach view, though the promenade is accessed by crossing one road with a traffic light controlled crossing. Sea can be a long way away depending on the huge tidal range experienced by Jersey. Downsides are a very weak internet signal which keeps dropping even simple I phone use, limited car parking with tight spaces. The internal walls are very thin & you can hear every word / action of your neighbours, which makes you extremely dependent on having respectful people around you for an enjoyable stay. I would guess the internal walls are only 40mm stud partitions.

We had a lovely stay at the Seawold (triple room for 2 adults + 1 child, late July 2026). The Seawold is a traditional style guest house, which has clearly built a regular and returning customer base on its warm and welcoming environment. It is very reasonably priced and provides very comfortable accommodation and a great breakfast. Anna and her team were very welcoming and kind to our family. Right from the start, making sure she knew when we were due so that check-in would be seamless. The room was spotlessly clean with all facilities as described. Location is great, between St Helier and St Aubin. It's immediately by the sea which meant that even when it was a bit cooler, we could have a quick evening swim and walk straight back. Parking available outside, and a charger in the public carpark behind, just a couple of minutes walk. Couple of pubs and a supermarket all around the corner, and the bus stop pretty much straight outside was very useful as well.

4/10 Regular

Like a time-warp from the 1960's, steep, narrow stairs with no lift, no porterage, never anybody on reception, generally poor lighting, many lounge bulbs out, no USB ports and seemingly well under-staffed. Having said that, it did what it said on the tin. The location was perfect for us visiting family in the area, the breakfast adequate, the rooms were serviced daily and it would have ben considered top-of-the-range about 1963. You get what you pay for.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was described as basic which it was so that didn’t surprise me. I do however think that, if they purchased a mattress topper and some half decent pillows then my stay would have been much better. The room was tired and in need of some new (not expensive) furniture which would have made the experience so much better. The breakfast was good and cooked to order. You get what you pay for but a few small adjustments would have made the difference.
