Fantastic experience! The executive rooms are well worth it offering the best views of the Bund and Pearl Tower with free access to the 30est floor lounge to complementary unlimited food and soft drinks all day and alcoholic drinks (6-8pm). The location couldn’t be more convenient too.

Perfect location for first time visitors to Shanghai. Building a bit dated but room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, professional and very efficient. Great location. It's right in the middle of the main street. Walkable to the bund too. The highlight for me was breakfast, so many options and I don't eat meat, so plenty more if you do. Also had soya milk so useful if you're vegan. Bed was comfortable, room has a kettle to make tea/coffee whenever you like which I always appreciate. You have to request things like toothbrushes or razors though. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

House keeping is great, the breakfast good, the workout facilities not so great, but the disappointment of the stay was that they gave some perks, which includes a shabby 30th floor “executive club” (terribly food - leftovers from breakfast?) and the discount on laundry was refused. I do not care about the monetary part, but the refusal to acknowledge their mistake and lack of attempt to make up (or even say sorry) was startling. A hotel with lots of Russian guests.

You can't go wrong when you stay in a hotel that is strategically located right at the heart of Nanjing Road West, the shopping district and pedestrian mall. The Bund is only a few hundred meters down the road. In addition, Hop On Hop Off busses are close by. The room is well furnished, clean and comfortable to be our home away from home during our stay in Shanghai.

We chose this hotel because the location was perfect. It’s about in the middle of the Nanjing Road pedestrian area. The hop-on-hop-off bus has a stop immediately adjacent to the hotel, and another just a couple blocks away. The lobby is on the second floor. You can walk up a steep flight of stairs on Nanjing Road or you can walk into the attached garage and take an elevator to the lobby. Our room was not very large, but adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the shower was quite good with consistent temperature and strong spray. Like most China hotels, bottled water is provided for free. If you need more, they will bring it to your room. The buffet breakfast was good and had windows looking out over Nanjing Road. It was a good environment. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was good and can be better organized. My son saw a mouse jump over his foot running into the kitchen on the last day which is concerning. Rooms are well equipped but tight. Staff was cooperative but failed to deliver the laundry to room stating left a message to pickup from front desk, which was not convenient. Location was perfect, center of Nanjing rd easy to get in and out, minutes from metro station. Has an excellent spa on 4th floor.
