I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Arcata. If you love historic hotels with lots of character, this is a great place to stay. I loved the vintage feel, especially the grand staircase, halls with pictures and historic facts, and the classic bathtubs in the rooms.
The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Just don't expect a full buffet—it's more of a light continental breakfast with fruit, oatmeal, cereal, and waffles, which was enough to get the day started.
Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Parking can be a little tricky, but the hotel provides a parking pass. Since I was traveling solo, I didn't mind the short walks and actually enjoyed exploring more of the town. I can see how parking might be a bit more challenging for families or anyone traveling alone with young children.
Overall, I loved my stay at Hotel Arcata and would definitely stay there again. It has a unique charm that made my visit to Arcata even more memorable.
