Absolutely great location! This hotel is right in the town center, and walkable to nearly everything. The staff was very helpful in recommendations, and kind enough to allow us to play cards down in the lobby.

We had a great view of the belfry from our room window. Spacious room. Hotel is right in the centre. Very convenient from all aspects. Very amiable and considerate front desk staff. Housekeeping could be a bit better, though.

Great location in the city centre. You can walk to the main attractions (all within a 10 minute walk). Room was clean and had no issues. Hotel has a pool and restaurant/bar which is great for relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful when I needed to print train tickets.

Great location. Exactly where you want to be when visiting for a short trip. The room was great. The onsite parking was also great but be aware that you drive through a pedestrian zone to get there, we panicked a bit.

8/10 Very good

Good hotel, staff quite blunt but helpful. Breakfast is expensive compared to what is on offer especially for vegetarians. Great location to the city centre but rooms need updating- it feels as though you're going back 20 to 30 years in time!

I was staying for a meeting and the arrangements for that were very good. Friendly staff, large room, right in the city centre. Pedestrian area at the front but taxis can access. Don't be put off by the decaying Novotel sign, the building has been refurbished.

4/10 Fair

This hotel is well located and the staff was kind, unfortunately the place is very very rundown and in great need of updating. I would guess that the carpet in our room was from the early 90s. Everything is faded and chipped. We came here specifically for the AC and it was broken for our second night. The pool was nice and redeemed the stay but there are much nicer places to stay in Ghent. Hopefully they can update this hotel soon. It’s far overdue.
