Even though the office staff was friendly, the motel is OLD and slowly falling apart. When I opened the armoire, the door fell off in my hand and hit me on the shoulder. The room was not very clean; unvacuumed, unclean bathroom walls. There was no screen on the window, and the bathroom sink faucet was very hard to pull into the On position, and only trickled out. Since there had been a power outage due to windy weather, our specific room did not have tv connection from the cable box. We were offered another room but had already unpacked everything.
The outside grounds had a nice view of the Sacramento River, and there was a clean pool, although the winds had caused duff and debris to gather on the surface and no one used it.
I will probably not stay in a Travelodge again, though some are better than others.
