It just wasn't at a four star hotel standard - far from I would say. Toiletseat would fall of every now and then and even though we asked for a fix, no one was able to come in the three nights we were there. There was a balcony but half the space was filled with two giant air conditioner units that were noisy, so you couldn't use it. The location is really good though - right in the middle of everything.

The AC was the best we have experienced in Italy. The hotel is part of an incredibly old building and suffers issues common with that situation but the room was well above normal and the staff was very accommodating. It was a great boutique hotel experience.

We chose this location bc they have AC and walkable to the city. The AC barely worked and we were only able to bear it after asking for a second key to leave in the power wall so that it stayed on while we were out. The hotel is on the “second floor” (76 stair steps) and there is not really a viable elevator. At the end of 20k steps walking around the city each day, the stairs to our room were dreaded. We paid for the breakfast at hotel in advance. It appeared we were the only ones who ate there. Skip it, it’s not worth the price. The staff was lovely (although not able to recommend a good restaurant) and the location was great!

Great location to all the sights in Rome. The staff was very helpful and Shadi provided us great recommendations for dinner and sweet desserts (Mr 100 Tirimisu They also provided us breakfast early when we had an early morning tour at the Vatican. Our experience was wonderful!
