The building seemed quite old, and there was a musty smell in the room. Even though we kept the bathroom door closed, the smell persisted and was quite bothersome. When trying to connect to the Wi-Fi, we were required to go through a registration process. However, when we attempted to sign up, we kept encountering errors. We went down to the front desk to report both the unpleasant smell in the room and the Wi-Fi issue, but there was no one at the desk. Additionally, we were told that parking would cost $59. Considering that there are many more affordable places in Brisbane that also offer parking, I don’t see a reason to choose this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Marriot Brisbane, It is in a great spot near the river with great views, we had a great deal which included valet parking and breakfast which was fabulous as parking in the city can be hard and very expensive. The breakfast was really nice with a good variety of yummy food. Close to a great walk along the river with access to restaurants. I will definitely consider staying there again

Parking was easy as we had valet as part of our deal, upgraded to presidential suite was a great surprise. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the geographical location was close to city centre, Chinatown and fortitude valley.
