We had a nice comfortable stay at the Newberry. The rooms were roomy and the beds comfortable. We reserved a room with a 'balcony' which was very small; not sure I would pay for that next time. The location is awesome. The bar and staff were great. And the front desk people were very helpful.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Bend. Its location is perfect; right in downtown but only a 15 minute walk to the mill area. Very quiet, clean, and the rooms are fairly large. Had a great stay, can’t wait to come back!

6/10 Good

We liked the room because it was big and the bed was comfortable and clean. I paid more for a balcony but it was very small and just had a big tree in front of it. Also, I had to pay for parking but could barely find a parking spot. There were a bunch of spots that were coned off and inaccessible. We had to park pretty far away. If I pay for parking, I expect to park pretty close to the hotel. I saw they had a restaurant on site and I looked at the menu for dinner but there are very few options available. We DoorDashed food instead.

I was disappointed to have to pay for breakfast at this price point. View was non-existent unless you like traffic. Location was great proximity to river.

Our stay at the Newberry hotel was extremely good, the room was very spacious and clean, the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The only downfall was the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately by 8.30am it wasn't very appetising as the food was looking like ut had been there for hours. The lovely waiter however got the chef to cook us some fresh food but something to maybe consider as running a buffet for 3 plus hours needs ongoing attention.but otherwise had a lovely stay.

Dave serves a great breakfast. Room small and bathroom tiny, very hard to keep shower curtain in tub to prevent water on floor, not good value for the price, particularly because the tub did not drain.
