We stayed at the lodge for 3 days with 3 teens. We had a LOVELY time, and that is saying a lot! The rooms were spacious, and every day, they delivered firewood and started for the fireplace at no charge. There is no internet ANYWHERE in Big Sur, but we had great connection at the convention center as well as the lodge. Also, the water pressure was great and we always had hot water. The lodge is exactly what we wanted. Set back off the main road, in the middle of the redwoods, and that 80s style summer camp vibes. No tv’s or wifi but the fire place and coffee in room gave a feeling of having everything we need. The check in process seemed frustrating for other patrons but staff was pleasant and accommodating. We will go back.
